For LPs · Capital call normalization

Make capital calls predictable.

Private funds call capital on their own schedules. Croton lets LPs contribute on theirs.

How it works

You choose a regular contribution. We hold it in a dedicated reserve, pay your capital calls from it, and advance the difference when a call comes early.

Without Croton, capital calls arrive in uneven amounts at unpredictable times. With Croton, the LP contributes the same amount on a regular schedule.
  1. 01

    Set a contribution schedule

Choose a regular contribution against the fund commitments you enroll. You decide which funds to include.

  2. 02

    Build a dedicated reserve

Your contributions accumulate in a reserve held for your capital calls and used for nothing else.

  3. 03

Meet calls, with advances when needed

We pay each capital call from your reserve. If a call arrives before the reserve has built up, we advance the difference and your next contributions repay it.

Benefits for LPs

  • A predictable schedule

Fund your commitments through regular contributions you set, not on each manager’s timetable.

  • Less idle cash

Hold less cash against calls that may not come for years, and keep more of your capital invested.

  • One plan across funds

One schedule and one reserve across your managers and vintages, with a clear record of every call.

  • Liquidity when a call comes early

Short-term advances cover calls that arrive before your reserve has caught up.

Questions LPs ask

No. You remain the LP of each fund, and your commitments remain yours. Croton gives you a predictable way to fund them.

Yes. You can enroll several eligible commitments under one contribution schedule, so calls from different managers and vintages are paid from the same reserve. You choose which funds to include.

We pay it from your reserve first. If the reserve has not yet built up enough, we advance the difference, within limits agreed at underwriting, and your next contributions repay the advance before they rebuild the reserve.

You set a regular contribution for the commitments you enroll. Contributions go into a dedicated reserve that pays those commitments’ capital calls.

Advances bridge timing. They cover a call that arrives before the reserve has caught up and are repaid from later contributions. Limits and terms are set out in your agreement.

LPs with unfunded commitments to private funds, including individual and family office LPs and the advisors who manage private market portfolios for their clients. Eligibility depends on the investor, the funds and their documents, and on underwriting.
